good that you made a statement. Heartbreaking and hard to accept the truth of terror. Very sad, very tragic.

Terror is, to me, incomprehensible. I cannot get my head around it, especially not this kind of terrorist act — so up close and yet impersonal.

Thank you for documenting this experience, especially for those of us who wish we could have gone to shiva but live thousands of miles away. Appreciate the nuanced view you offer and your willingness, born of compassion, to step outside your own comfort zone.

  3. I’m glad you were able to do this you made me feel like I was there with you. Well shared and said

  4. Thank you for your intimate article (and all the others). I will tweet it to my followers so they can experience it also. Shabbat shalom.

  5. Sheri, what you did was incredibly powerful. What many of us living in so called “Settlements” often do is pigeonhole Chilonim as “anti” this or that. For ALL Jews Ahavat Yisrael should be the overriding emotion and conviction. Politics mean little when our People still face a genocidal onslaught. I wish so many more Chilonim would have expressed solidarity with the Ariel, Mark and the many other families who have lost love ones to Arab violence.

I hope that this piece of mine will help some others join me in expressing solidarity with the families in the Jewish communities of J&S, and not just those in mourning.

Thank you so very much for this – for what you did – and what you have written. I will share the piece widely.
