Yazidi Genocide, Politics, and the Moral Vote

  1. A symbolic vote by the Israeli Knesset condemning this genocide might seem important but the fact is that our itsy bitsy vote in it’s support could be problematic for Israeli foreign relations in general.

      Thanks for your comment, Kenneth. You say that the vote in support could be problematic for Israeli foreign relations in general? You mean affecting our relations with more than Turkey (who cares!) and Azerbaijan? And that is regarding the Armenian Genocide. Regarding the Yazidi Genocide, who would be upset other than Iraq? (I have not noticed that we have open relations with Iraq.) What am I missing?

      About as legitimate as I consider any other UN body or the UN as a whole. I merely stated the fact that they accepted what happened to the Yazidis as a genocide without further comment because it is one decision I agree with.
