There was a time when Journalism was about finding the truth and reporting the truth. That was considered your achievement or success. But in current times journalism is about popularity, and success comes from reporting what makes the most people happy and what brings the most rewards.
When I was in Israel 30 years ago, the Palis already had control of the media because they had mastered victimhood and only reporters who endorsed that view could get access to the West Bank. Israel needs an IDF of the spoken word and media, which is where you fit in. It has to be lonely and frustrating at times but you are a soldier of truth. Proud to be your friend. #TruthMatters

Gilad Erdan, as Minister of Strategic Affairs, is trying to do just that. It is so hard when being a victim as the Palestinians play at, tugs at heart strings whereas telling the truth has no emotional impact.
