Very enlightening and very well written. I wasn’t aware of the details of this affair. I agree with your analysis. I wonder if Bill and Hillary’s marriage is purely a means to political power?

It might have been for a long time, but it seems in their senior years, they have a true affection for each other. I looked at how they looked at each other during the DNC. Glad you found some new information here – I enjoyed doing the research.

As I recall, according to her, it started when he walked into the office one day and she greeted him by lifting her skirt and flashing her thong. He should have had her fired immediately. It would have saved them both a lot of shame and agony. She would have learned the appropriate behavior in the workplace environment.

I’m laughing at your suggestions of what Hillary should do because that’s simply not in her character. I had several feminist friends, lawyers in civil rights, who were shocked that I was blaming Clinton! They put it all on Monica. Good article. I hope she gets to see it. I remember hearing Clinton testify that Monica meant nothing to him. I thought of how painful that had to be and what a nasty man he was to say it.
