  1. I don’t care for your headline. It sounds like it is your position, even though I have been following you long enough to know better..

At least put it in quotes.

I thought about your suggestion long and hard and decided to leave the title as it. I appreciate your suggestions and hope you will continue to make them because I am sure to accept some of them, thereby improving my work.

Sheri, it works for me. And there is a perception among “foreigners” that there is a major difference between Mizrahi and Ashkenazi Jews. There is, from an orientation standpoint, but both admire the other.

  2. I cannot help but wonder what Wolfe’s position was in respect of the indigenous population of Australia? Did he write a paper on Why Australia Needs The Aborigines by any chance?

    • Sheri Oz says:

I considered that, but that is confusing the Aborigines with the Palestinian Arabs. The former is an indigenous population and the latter are colonialists. You might ask if the Palestinian Arabs need the Jews and the answer to that one is yes: before Israel, there was no reason to invent the Palestinian Arab myth.

      • I agree entirely. However, my question was rhetorical and aimed sarcastically at Wolfe’s hypocrisy in taking aim at non-colonial Israel in order to rail against the evils of colonialism, especially given his own country’s murky colonial history.
